Hong Kong lives with its gaze turned towards the sea. Its harbour, islands and coastline are all part of a city where water is ever-present. Amidst traditional markets, bustling streets and shopping districts, the city is explored by double-decker buses and trams, ferries and cable cars that connect neighbourhoods, mountains and different vantage points. It is a place where skyscrapers are part of the landscape, but where there is also room for nature.

If you have three days in Hong Kong, you could plan your trip as follows:

Hong Kong seamlessly blends cultures in its food, its streets and its way of life. Here, tradition and modernity coexist in a fast-paced, practical and open city, where the local and the international constantly intersect. It is this combination that gives the city such a distinctive and unique identity.
